Our work at the Chester County Justice Center
This state-of-the-art justice center will house the Chester County Court of Common Pleas and all court related departments. The completed seven-floor structure includes courtrooms, judges’ chambers, court administration, filing and law enforcement functions. There are 18 main courtrooms, all but three finished and ready for use. The remaining ones will accommodate future needs. The courtrooms have elegant dark cherry wainscoting and crown molding, with the exception of one that is paneled in oak to match an historic judges’ bench moved from historic Courtroom Three and brought to the new center. TSI supplied jury box seating for all of the courtrooms. Custom details such as wood arms and a special colored base were included in the manufacture of each chair to coordinate with the formal, elegant design of the courtrooms. Theatre Solutions also provided an ADA compliant jury chair to provide handicap access to the jury box.
