The four founding partners of TSI worked together for nearly 20 years with another manufacturer before opening TSI in 1996. From the beginning, we were focused on bringing the value of our collective experience together with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Our primary business model is to serve our customers through a flexible manufacturing and management system that is designed for success through a wide range of project types and sizes. We have started our first international extension to Vadodara, India in 2005 as a liaison office. and gradually, we have established our first extended manufacturing unit with an Indian counterpart in 2008.
We have a strong and proven track record of execution of hundreds of successful projects every year over the last 25 years. We are a proud partner and supplier to some of the most prestigious universities and educational institutions such as Harvard University, Kean University, and MIT and Princeton University. We have successfully installed our furniture in the United States, South Korea, and India. Further, we also make fixed seating for theatres and performing art centers as well as corporate facilities. We have supplied premium seating to some of the most world-renowned venues such as the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood California (home of the Oscar awards), Carnegie Hall in New York, the LG Arts Center in Seoul, South Korea and the U.S. Capitol in Washington DC. Within the corporate arena, we have supplied to Johnson and Johnson, Nokia and Novartis amongst many others.
We have built strong continuing relationships with a wide array of impressive architects and consultants. Our product offering is largely designed to accommodate customization, which stands in contrast to some of the larger competitors who are more heavily committed to mass production.
